Elklan Training
Talk About Town Ltd are trained to deliver various Elklan Courses. Elklan is a provider of quality training on all aspects of Speech and Language. The course is perfect for teachers and teaching assistants who want to learn more about how to support children with Speech, Language and Communication needs in the school environment. The course is recognised by the Department for Education and is accredited at either Level 2 or Level 3, so allows teachers and TAs to add to their continuing professional development. In addition to Elklan training, Talk About Town Ltd can also offer a range of more informal training sessions, ideal for school INSET days or twilight sessions. Hanen Training
Talk About Town Ltd are also Hanen Centre certified, and are trained to deliver the centre's "It Takes Two to Talk" programme. This programme is aimed at parents of children with language delay aged between 1 and 3 years old. Hanen training is well known and evidence based, and would be an excellent course to offer parents at nurseries and children's centres.
